I ventured down to Dave FM today to watch Greg Laswell in a very intimate performance. Needless to say, I had a fantastic time. Greg played about 6 songs. Half were from his new album (due out in May) and half were old songs. He’s a funny guy and kept the radio staff (and fans) entertained between songs. He even played the chorus to one of his songs backwards! Apparently, he had to learn the whole song backwards for his music video. I met him after the show, and he graciously signed posters and took pictures with me and my friend. The radio station was equally as generous and gave us free tickets to Greg’s show this summer and t-shirts. I’m in love with this station! It would be an awesome place to intern at.
