Good Old War - “My Own Sinking Ship”

If you don’t know about Good Old War, you should. The indie folk trio out of Philly released their sophomore album, Good Old War, today. The trio hasn’t been making much noise in terms of critics and rave reviews, but they’re fun. GOW is kind of like the band that you’re best friends play in on the weekends. Their sound is very backyard barbecue, something you’d listen to while sipping on a cold beer and chatting with old buds. I’ve only listened to a few songs off of the new album, but so far, so good. “My Own Sinking Ship” is definitely a favorite.

The best part is the album is available for $2.99 on Amazon today! It’s a steal considering how long the album is. GOW released several singles off the album for free in the weeks leading up to the release date. These guys are great. At $2.99, how can you not buy it?
