The Apples in Stereo - “Can You Feel It?”

“Oh, turn up your stereo. Oh, I feel the magic when the speakers start to blow.”

The Apples in Stereo and I have long standing ties. I waited until 1 AM at the legendary 40 Watt Club for them to put on the first concert of my collegiate career, and they did not disappoint. AIS took the stage in whacked out space attire and jammed out. All of my deadened senses were awakened, and the crowd’s energy was wild and full of excitement. They’re a great band to get you up and going. 

AIS has ties to Athens through The Elephant Six Collective, Neutral Milk Hotel being one of the more notable bands of the group. Quite a few of E6’s members can be found performing in various bands throughout Athens. AIS is set to reappear at the 40 Watt during Athens Popfest.
